Wanda Wilkerson (12-6-22) service 12-11-22

Wanda Kay Wilkerson, 72, of Savannah, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 6, in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born in Wayne County, Tennessee, on Oct. 20, 1950, the daughter of the late Leverne William and Blanche Lucille Palmer Crowder.
On May 18, 1968, she was united in marriage to Jimmy Lester Wilkerson, who survives.
Mrs. Wilkerson worked at Angelica, Hardin Medical Center Health & Rehab as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Savannah City Hall and most recently Suntrust Bank. She loved her cats, loved to work in her flower garden, sing and play piano in church, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jimmy Lester Wilkerson of Savannah, her son Jimmy Kelvin Wilkerson; and sisters, Louise Pitts of Alabama, Ruby Spears of Linden, Tennessee, and Alice Williams of Savannah.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Eaton; and brother, C.W. Crowder.
Services were held on Sunday, Dec.11, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Daniel Holt and Jason Estes officiating. Burial followed at Wilkerson Cemetery in Savannah.
