Wet forecast: Adamsville reschedules Christmas events

Due to wet weather forecast for Saturday, the city of Adamsville announced the postponement of its annual Christmas parade and “Christmas in the ‘Ville.”
Both events are now scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 15.
Adamsville’s “Jingle Bells Christmas Parade” begins at 5:30 p.m. The route starts at Shackelford Funeral Home, 303 Old Stage Road.
Following the parade, Adamsville hosts its “Christmas in the ‘Ville” from 6-8 p.m at The Marty community center at 241 Crowe St. The event will have visits with Santa, cookies and cocoa, performances by the Adamsville High School band, a bounce house, train rides and more.
