Billie Alexander McMurry, 98, of Adamsville, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 1. She was the daughter of the late Willie Hobart and Ethel Hopper.
She was united in marriage to J. T. McMurry, who preceded his wife in death.
Mrs. McMurry was a homemaker and a member of Church of God.
She is survived by her children, Larry Alexander of Sweeny, Texas, and Sherry Hall of Savannah; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Alexander; and sister, Jean Sheffield.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Lebanon Cemetery in Saltillo, Tennessee, with Marvin Wyke officiating.
