Meda Falls (11-14-22) service 11-21-22

Meda Nell Falls, 83, of Savannah, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14. She was born on Sept. 25, 1939, in Lobelville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Lexie Long and Mary Sam Leeper Long Denton.
Mrs. Falls worked for the Hardin County School System for 18 years. She was very dedicated to her work at Jackson State Community College and retired after 25 years on May 13, 2022. She enjoyed playing bridge, going out to eat with friends, riding around town, watching sports and was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Savannah.
She is survived by her son, Burt Falls and his wife Misty Fielder Falls of Savannah; grandson, Isaiah Smith and his wife Kenzie; and great-grandchild, Malichi.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, William (Bill) Burnett Falls II.
Memorial Donations may be made to The Carl Perkins Center.
Services were held on Monday, Nov. 21, at First United Methodist Church in Savannah, with Brad Jones and Rev. Dr. Lloyd Doyle officiating. Burial followed at Leeper Cemetery in Lobelville, Tennessee.
