Bobbie Pauline Garrard (11-13-22) service 11-18-22

Bobbie Pauline Pryor Garrard, 90, of Savannah, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13. She was born in Saltillo, Tennessee , on July 15, 1932, the daughter of the late William Edward and Essie Kelly Pryor.
On Oct. 16, 1946, she was united in marriage to Thomas Henry Garrard, who preceded his wife in death on Dec. 6, 1986.
Pauline, as she was known by everyone, was a lifetime resident of Hardin County, had worked for 20 years at Savannah Manufacturing, and was a member of Mountain View Church of Christ. She loved the many years of fellowship she shared with her church family and loved sharing her good cooking with them at church socials. In her way, cooking was her service to others, and she loved making “Granny’s house” a special place.
Mrs. Garrard enjoyed gardening, canning, flowers and working in her yard. Making quilts was her favorite pastime, which she even continued while in the nursing home until she could no longer thread a needle.
She is survived by her children, Danny Wayne Garrard, Robert Edward Garrard, Kathy Lynne Sparks and Barbara Sue Copeland; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and seven step-great -grandchildren; and sisters, Francis Bailey and Elizabeth Sandidge.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Michael Garrard; daughter, Judy Carol Minyard; grandchild, Kristi Garrard; sister, Lorene Brasher; and brothers, Kenneth, Fay, Bill and Ray Pryor.
Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 18, at Mountain View Church of Christ in Savannah, with Joe Paul Bryant and Tracy Love officiating. Burial followed at Piney Grove Cemetery in Savannah.
