Bobby Wilson (9-4-22) service 9-8-22

Bobby D. Wilson, 80, of Savannah, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 4. He was born on November 20, 1941, in Durant, Mississippi, the son of the late Carl Dain and Mary Katherine Kelheofer Wilson.
In June 1972, he was united in marriage to Rejetta Weaver, who survives.
Mr. Wilson honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Prior to moving to Savannah, he lived in Huntsville, Alabama and worked at NASA, and lived in San Antonio, Texas and worked at Lackland Air Force Base as an auditor for base housing.
He coached baseball and football and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a member of Jaycee’s and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Corinth, Mississippi. Mr. Wilson was recognized for 45 years of Federal Civil Service – USPS, NASA, AFAA, and AFCEE, from September 26, 1961 to January 2, 2007.
In addition to his wife, Rejetta Weaver Wilson of Savannah; he is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Dain Wilson of Savannah, and Joseph Dyar Wilson of Decaturville, Tennessee; daughter, Dana Kay Wilson; sister, Jo Anne Herring of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and granddaughter, Madison Wilson.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, Sept. 8, at Milledgeville Cemetery in Milledgeville, Tennessee, with Daniel Holt officiating.
