Thomas McKinney (6-21-22) service 6-2-22

Thomas (Tommy) Allen McKinney, 58, of Crump, passed away in the early morning of Tuesday, June 21, at Hardin County Medical Center in Savannah. He was born on June 14, 1964 in Henderson, Tennessee and is the son of the late James Robert McKinney Sr. and Connie Rose Sikes McKinney.
Tommy attended school in Jackson, Tennessee as a child through high school. He worked for Jeter Drywall and later in life he worked at a sod farm. He attended church services at Landmark Pentecostal Church in Stantonville. He loved to fish and hunt and was an amazing cook. More than anything, though, Tommy loved spending time with his family and enjoyed being a Papa to his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James Allen Sikes and Mary Christie Ballard Sikes; and his paternal grandparents Robert Lee McKinney and Nora Kelly McKinney; brother James (Carolyn) McKinney Jr.; and sisters, Susan Howard and Melonie (Neal) Black.
He leaves behind his wife Marcia McKinney; sons, John (Morgan) Briker, Andy (Sarah) Briker, Cody McKinney and James King. Mr. McKinney also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Jean Ann Bricker, John (JT) Bricker, Elizabeth Bricker, Shawn Bricker, Kinzleigh Moore, Hunter McKinney, Hayden McKinney, Grayson McKinney and Ryleigh McKinney.
Even in death, his body donation will save lives and continue medical research and advancements for years to come.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, at Landmark Pentecostal Church in Stantonville.
