Gayle LaForce (6-5-22) service 6-11-22

Gayle LaForce, 79, of Savannah, died Sunday, June 5. She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late William Wallace Devers and Ruby Beatrice Goodman Devers Perry.

Mrs. LaForce is survived by her husband of 64 years, Everett LaForce of Savannah; daughters, Debra Lynn LaForce Simpson of Savannah, and Laura Beth LaForce Leohr of Olive Hill; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Kayron Galongo of California and Sue McCann of Millington, Tennessee; and a brother, Jerry Devers of Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, Gayle was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathryn Freeman and Linda Boles; and a brother, Charles Devers.

Services were held Saturday, June 11 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Brent Colley officiating. Burial followed at the Highland Cemetery in Waynesboro.
