TSSAA state tournament updates

Three area baseball/softball teams are headed to Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association state tournament play after winning sectional games Friday evening and Saturday morning.
The Hardin County Lady Tigers defeated Montgomery Central on the road Saturday morning on a Kenzie Moore no-hitter to earn a TSSAA State Softball Tournament berth in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Hardin County faces off against former District 13-AAA foe Dyer County at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 24.
The Adamsville Lady Cardinals obliterated Memphis Mitchell at home Friday evening to punch their ticket to the TSSAA State Softball Tournament as part of Spring Fling in Murfreesboro. Adamsville tangles with Loretto at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 24.
The Adamsville Cardinals hit the road to Southwind High School in Shelby County and absolutely crushed Freedom Prep Friday evening and clinched their reservation in the TSSAA State Baseball Tournament in Murfreesboro. Like the Lady Cardinals, the Cardinals will also be battling Loretto in an opening round game of the double-elimination tournament Tuesday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m.
