Lewis McQuaid (5-9-22) service 5-14-22

Lewis McQuaid, 87, of Savannah, died on Monday, May 9.
He was born in DuQuion, Illinois, the son of the late Howard and Genieva Cowan McQuaid. He was united in marriage to Anita Walker, who preceded him in death.
Mr. McQuaid served his country for six years in the Army and three years in the Air Force. He retired from Commercial Laundry Consulting.
He is survived by his son, Alan McQuaid of Savannah; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brothers, Jim McQuaid of Illinois, Vernon McQuaid of Florida and Charles “Chuck” McQuaid of Clarksville, Tennessee; and sisters, Brenda Sanders of Missouri and Georgiann Stearns of Missouri.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin McQuaid.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 14, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
