Artie Mae Stricklin (4-29-22) service 5-4-22

Artie Mae Shands Stricklin, 84, of Savannah, died on Friday, April 29, in Savannah.
She was born in Waterloo, Alabama, the daughter of the late Cecil and Vernie Lois Cossey Scott. She was united in marriage to Henry Shands, who preceded her in death. Later, she was united in marriage to Gene Autry Stricklin, who preceded her in death.
She worked as a quality control inspector for Angelica Manufacturing. She also worked as a beautician for 12 years.
She is survived by her children, Margaret McFall of Lutts and Daphne Armas-Perez of Lexington, Alabama; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Annie Lou Wilder of Savannah and Martha Nell Staggs of Decatur, Alabama; and brother, Jerry Scott of Savannah.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Shands; one daughter, Becky Shands; one sister, Mildred Scott; and two brothers, Billy Scott and Wilburn Scott.
Services were held on Wednesday, May 4, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial followed in Fielder Cemetery at Savannah.
