Raymond Word (4-8-22) service 4-21-22

Raymond Shaun Word, 41, of Savannah, died on Friday, April 8.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Raymond and Joan Word. He was united in marriage to Daisy E. Word, who survives.
Mr. Word had worked for Roach Sawmill for 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy E. Word of Selmer; his children, Dillon Word and Joanna Word, both of Savannah; stepchildren, Ashley Morrison, Brittney Collins, Curtis Strickland and Wesley Strickland, all of Selmer; sister, Frankie Jo Kelley of Florence, Alabama; stepbrother, Ronald Stricklin of Savannah; and his grandmother, Mollie Word of Savannah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Larry Highland.
Services were held on Thursday, April 21, at Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Savannah with Carl Copeland officiating. Burial followed in White’s Creek Cemetery at Savannah.
