Jerry “Hog Head” Horton (3-28-22)

Jerry Wayne “Hog Head” Horton Sr., 72, of Stantonville, passed away on Monday, March 28, at his home.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date to be announced by his family.
Born March 21, 1950, in Savannah, Jerry was a retired self-employed contractor.
He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. He was an avid hunter, master gardener and loved cooking.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debora Horton; sons, Jay Horton and wife Angie and Justin “Shrimp” Horton and Amanda Taylor; one grandson, Jake Horton; sisters, Patsy Martin, Jeanette Alexander and Jonnie Allen and husband Glenn; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Horton; mother, Dovie Horton; brothers, Charles Horton, Lee Paulk Horton and David Horton; and a sister, Maxine Newman.
