David C. Davis (4-2-22) service 4-7-22

David C. Davis, 80, of Lakeland, Tennessee, formerly of Savannah, died on Saturday, April 2, in Lakeland, Tennessee.
He was born in Wayne County, the son of the late Elmer C. and Zora L. Davis. He was united in marriage to Mary Sue Ingle, who survives.
Mr. Davis served his country in the United States National Guard from 1964 until 1968. He worked at Jackson Utility Department and Memphis Area Transit Company as an accountant and office manager. He was a member of Lakeland Civic Club in Lakeland, Tennessee, Foursquare Church in Savannah and Lord’s Church in Bartlett, Tennessee. David sang with the Guardsmen Quartet of West Tennessee in his 20s and traveled West Tennessee and Mississippi to sing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Ingle Davis of Lakeland, Tennessee; and his son, Sean C. Davis of Memphis.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 7, at 1 p.m., at Memory Gardens in Savannah with James Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
