Ruby Humphrey (3-23-22) service 3-25-22

Ruby Marie Stevens Humphrey, 85, of Stantonville, died on Wednesday, March 23.
She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late William “Ollie” and Ada Belle Roe Moffett.
Mrs. Humphrey was a member of Meeks Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She worked at Garan Manufacturing in Adamsville in the fabrication department and later worked at the hospital in Selmer as an environmentalist.
She is survived by her children, Mary V. (Pud) Gray, Henry Walter Stevens Jr., Kerry Wayne Stevens, Tammy Lynn Thacker, Penny Marie Bullock, Dennis Paul Stevens and Charles (Punkin) Stevens; two brothers, Charlie Moffett and Willie Earl (Mousey) Moffett; 16 grandchildren; and a host of great and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hurley Baxter Humphrey; father of her children, Henry Walter Stevens; two sons, infant son Stevens and James “Andy” Stevens; two granddaughters; two sisters, Edyth Mae Gream and Mary Adilene Gream; six brothers, Jim William Moffett, Herbert Dee Moffett, George Thomas Moffett, Hershell Moffett, Herman Moffett and Baby brother Moffett.
Services were held on Friday, March 25, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Daniel Holt officiating. Burial followed in Stantonville Cemetery at Stantonville.
