Mildred Jean White Stricklin, 78, of Savannah, died on Saturday, March 19, in Jackson, Tennessee.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Raymond and Pearl Bonee White.
She attended a Pentecostal church.
She is survived by her sons, Billy Norman of Savannah, Roy Norman of Selmer and Jimmy Ferrell of Savannah; brother, Cecil Wayne White of Savannah; sisters, Edith Leath and Margie Melson, both of Savannah; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Arthur Ferrell; daughter, Janie Denise Stricklin; brothers, Roy Browning White, Billy Steve White, Buddy Reed and Theo Reed; and sister, Wanda Reed.
Services were held on Tuesday, March 22, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Melissa Roland officiating. Burial followed in Shady Hill Cemetery at Savannah.
