Freeman Alley Jr. (2-21-22) service 2-26-22

Freeman Edward “JR” Alley Jr., 69, of Adamsville, died on Monday, Feb. 21, in Jackson, Tennessee.
He was born in Missouri, the son of the late Freeman Edward Alley Sr. and Lizzie Garrard Alley. He was united in marriage to Pamela Sherrie Cowart, who survives.
Mr. Alley Jr. worked as a mechanic for Penske Trucking in Jackson, Tennessee for 19 years.
In addition to his wife Pamela of Adamsville, he is survived by his children, Charles Alley and Steven Alley, both of Crump, Adam Cowart and Jennifer Alley, both of Adamsville; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Alley of Adamsville, Billy Alley of Somerville, Alabama, and Randall Alley of Adamsville; and sisters, Kathy Branning of Greeneville, Tennessee, Glenda Smith of Enville and Brenda Maness of Ramer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kaston Cowart; brothers, James and Jimmy Alley; and sisters, Patsy Alley Boswell and Tina Faye Alley.
Visitation was held Saturday, Feb. 26, at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville.
