Bobby Broyles (2-12-22) service 2-19-22

Bobby A. Broyles was born in Savannah on Aug. 25, 1930, the son of the late William Harry Broyles Sr. and Elizabeth Beatrice House Broyles.
On Oct. 24, 1952, he was united in marriage to Nola Beatrice Vickery, who preceded her husband in death on Sept. 27, 2017.
Mr. Broyles served his country as a staff sergeant in the National Guard. He was an electrician for Savannah Electric.
Mr. Broyles departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 12, in Savannah, at the age of 91 years, 5 months and 18 days.
He is survived by his children, Wanda Parrish of Savannah, Ken Broyles and his wife Donna of Crump, Rickey Broyles and his wife Maia of Saulsbury, Tennessee, Teresa Franks and her husband Ronnie of Savannah and Elisa Foster and her husband Tim of Savannah; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Broyles was preceded in death by his brothers, Grady Broyles, Gilbert Broyles, William Harry Broyles Jr., Fred Broyles, George Broyles, Earl Broyles, Noble Broyles and Harlon Broyles; and sisters, Evelyn Mercer, Kathryne Funderburk and Mary Bromley.

Bobby’s daily life reflected 1 Corinthians 13:4, Love is patient and kind, love is not envy and boastful, it is not arrogant or rude. He loved his family and they loved him. Bobby’s family is grateful that God determined him to be their father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.
Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Mike Anderson officiating. Burial followed in Savannah Cemetery at Savannah.
