Hollis Franks (2-10-22) service 2-16-22

Hollis Odell Franks, 87, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Feb. 10.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Jim Russell Franks and Linnie Mae Wade Franks. He was united in marriage to Minnie Sue Clay, who survives.
Hollis retired from TVEC where he was a mechanic for 27 years. He was a member of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World.
In addition to his wife, Minnie Sue Franks, he is survived by his children, Cathy Diane Franks Simmons Bittle of Savannah, Carol Annette Franks Simmons of Collinwood and Keith Allen Franks of Savannah; eight grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Bennie Franks of Savannah, Archie Franks of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Wade Franks of Virginia, Joe Franks and Eddie Franks, both of Savannah.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Catherine Elizabeth Franks Lowe, Betty Ruth Franks Pickens; and a brother, Larry Franks.
Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Carl Hughes officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
