Rhonda Malone (2-3-22) service 2-8-22

Rhonda Faye Rumbaugh Malone, 70, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Feb. 3, in Savannah.
She was born in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of the late James Townsend and Arnita Sanders Rumbaugh.She was united in marriage to Johnny Anthony Malone, who survives.
Mrs. Malone was a cook at Buffalo River Trailride. She was the caregiver for her son for 50 years. She was a member of Church of God Prophecy in Collinwood.
In addition to her husband Johnny of Savannah, she is survived by her children, Michael Malone and Monica Caywood, both of Savannah; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Gail Risner, Kathy Pitts, Connie Pully, Kay Holt, Sandra Risner and Pam Pigg, all of Collinwood, Jan Pigg and Joyce Staggs, both of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richie Thrasher; a grandchild; a sister, Peggy Pigg; and two brothers, Coy Rumbaugh and David Rumbaugh.
Services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial followed in Campground Cemetery at Savannah.
