Roy “Tojo” Casteel (1-24-22) service 1-27-22

Roy “Tojo” Casteel, 65, of Savannah, died on Monday, Jan. 24, in Savannah.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Roy D. and Marie Rose Casteel.
Mr. Casteel worked for 15 plus years for Muscle Shoals Marine, where he was a tow boat captain. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Savannah.
He is survived by his children, Christopher Lynn Casteel of Savannah and Jana Casteel of Savannah; three grandchildren; and sisters, Bobbie Sue Hardin and Nancy Bingham, both of Savannah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dwight Casteel.
Services were held on Thursday, Jan. 27, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah with Jason Estes officiating. Burial followed in Campground Cemetery at Savannah.
