Billy Holloway (1-18-22) service 1-24-22

Billy Ray Holloway, 92, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
He was born in Malden, Missouri, the son of Zona Everett and Ora Bell Holloway. He was united in marriage to Margaret Sue, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Holloway was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He was a member of the Senior Adult Class and the Senior Choir. He was a decorated Master Chief and served with honor in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1974. During that time he worked as an aviation machinist mate.
He is survived by a daughter, Carol Lowdermilk of Knoxville; a son, Chuck Holloway of Drummonds, Tennessee; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Betty Freeman, Jackie Holloway and Avanelle Holloway.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Services were be held on Monday, Jan. 24, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah with Billy Joe Kennedy, Brittany Flow and Jerry Wesenberg officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
