Danny Handley (12-30-21) service 1-3-22

Danny Lynn Handley, 67, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Dec. 30, in Jackson, Tennessee.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Dan Virgil Handley and Anna Sue O’Neal Qualls. He was united in marriage to Sherry Miller, who survives.
Mr. Handley retired after 22 years as a truck driver from Averett Trucking Company. He was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Sherry Handley of Savannah, he is survived by two sons, Daniel Raymond Handley of Mobile, Alabama and Scottie Lynn Handley of Morris Chapel; stepsons, Josh Bixler of Savannah and Christopher Bixler of Hamilton, Alabama; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Patti Marshock of Scottsdale, Arizona and Jill Rose of Savannah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Handley; brother, Jack Handley; and two infant sisters, Betty and Laura Handley.
Services were held on Monday, Jan. 3, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Dennis Usner officiating.
