Geraldine Dickman (12-24-21) service 1-9-22

Geraldine Dickman, of Savannah, was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, on Nov. 4, 1929, the daughter of the late Leslie Marshal and Mary R.G. Dauphaine Hamilton.
On July 15, 1951, she was united in marriage to Lester Lewis Dickman, who preceded his wife in death on Dec. 27, 2015.
Geraldine worked as a nurse for Harbert Hills Nursing Home in Savannah and pioneered the work at Harbert Hills Academy and dedicated 65 years of service time. She was a member of Savannah Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Geraldine departed this life on Friday, Dec. 24, in Savannah, at the age of 92 years, 1 month and 20 days.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Lester Dickman of Savannah and Pamela Lynette Dickman Biggers of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Kara Garrard Dickman, Heather Michelle Dickman Hoewing, Julia Danae Dickman Lehman, Renata Cie Biggers Maxwell, Conn Avery Biggers and Eva Rose Biggers; great-grandchildren, Stephen Isaiah Hoewing, Daniel Lester Hoewing, Avery James Hilly Maxwell; and brother, Robert Lane Hamilton of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents and husband, Geraldine was preceded in death by one son, Randall Lee Dickman; and one brother, Leslie Marshal Hamilton.
Services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m., at Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah with Bob Wint and John Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkerson Cemetery at Savannah.
