Carrie Davis (12-7-21) service 12-10-21

Carrie Willie Riley Evans Davis, Clifton, was born Jan. 31, 1932, in Perry County, Tennessee, to the late Samuel Ottis and Mary Elizabeth Dedrick Riley. She married James Henry Evans who preceded her in death Feb. 15, 1980. She later married Clemon Davis who preceded her in death March 2, 2006.
Ms Davis, a retired machine operator and member of Riverside United Methodist Church, Clifton, enjoyed baking pies and everyone always looked forward to getting one.
She departed this life Tuesday, Dec. 7, at Hardin Medical Center, at the age of 89 years, 10 months, 7 days.
Survivors, stepsons, Larry Davis, wife, Linda and Jerry Davis, wife, Debbie and stepdaughter, Linda Patterson, husband, Jim, all of Savannah; four step grandchildren; 10 step great-grandchildren and one step great-great-grandchild; nephews, Randy Boyd, Tana Gregory, Clifton, Jason Boyd, wife, Kim, Spring Hill, Tennessee and Ricky Wheat, wife, Debbie and Jerry Wheat all of Clifton; niece, Sherri Groom, husband, Randy, Linden, Tennessee and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
Besides her husbands and parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by sisters, Lona Marie Riley Wheat and Emma Louise Riley Boyd and one step grandchild.
Services were Friday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m., at Riverside United Methodist Church, Clifton, with Josh Layne officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery, Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing.
