Carolyn Butler (11-28-21) service 12-3-21

Carolyn Lee Butler, 75, of Michie, died on Sunday, Nov. 28, in Savannah.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Jessie Lee and Mary Lucille Ponds Thompson. She was united in marriage to James Carlton Butler, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Butler was a member of River of Life Church in Crump.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Marie Butler Franks of Shiloh; three grandchildren; and sisters, Barbara Tucker of Sardis, Tennessee and Lynda Eason of Lexington, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Ponds and Don Thompson.
Services were held on Friday, Dec. 3, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah. Burial followed in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery at Corinth, Mississippi.
