Marty Bowden (11-15-21) service 11-19-21

Marty Ray Bowden, 64, passed away on Monday, Nov. 15, at his home in Savannah.
Marty, a self-employed carpenter, was born Aug. 16, 1957, in Hardin County, to the late James and Helen Smith Bowden.
He attended Landmark Pentecostal Church in Stantonville. Mr. Bowden was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and metal detecting. However, there was nothing as important to Marty as his loving family who will miss him dearly.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowden was preceded in death by his brothers, Red and Rod Bowden; and by his step-grandson, Trey Richardson.
He is survived by his children, Misty Davison (Jody Smith) of Savannah and Tony Bowden (Nicole) of Molena, Georgia; along with their mother, Sandra Steele of Morris Chapel; step-children, Tabitha King and BJ King (Audra), both of Shiloh; along with their mother, Sandra Bowden of Arkansas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gage Davison of Savannah, Bailey Davison (Cameron) of Ramer, Tennessee, Hunter Bowden of Molena, Georgia, Haley Richardson of Counce and Brighton, Rylee, Allissa, Gracie and Nevaeh King, all of Savannah.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, at South Shiloh Full Gospel Church in Shiloh, with interment in Cromwell South Shiloh Cemetery. Wathon Wilbanks and Pastor James Newcomb officiated the service.
Pallbearers were Cody Bowden, BJ King, Johnny Davis, Topper Davis, Cameron Hockaday and Gage Davidson.
