Doris Shelby (11-5-21)

Doris Geneva Franks Shelby, 67, of Savannah, died on Friday, Nov. 5, in Savannah.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Clarence and Burna Duff Franks.
She was a homemaker and also had worked as a store clerk.
She is survived by her children, Johnathan Dean Shelby, Samantha Doris Shelby, Jeffrey Dean Shelby and Joseph Daniel Shelby, all of Savannah; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Diane Shelby; and one brother, Leo Franks.
Visitation is Thursday, Nov. 11, 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors.
