Treat Street is, once again, a walk in the park
Treat Street, sponsored by the City of Savannah and area businesses, once again transforms Tennessee Street Park in celebration of Halloween.
The magic happens Saturday afternoon at Tennessee Street Park, where booths set up by local businesses and organizations line the walking trail and candy is handed out to hundreds of youngsters.
It’s a change from last year, when COVID-19 precautions turned Treat Street into a drive through event.
“Come out to Treat Street, dress up if you like, and have fun,” said Stephanie Timbes, Savannah Main Street executive director.
Booths are being set up from 1-3 p.m.
Trick-or-treaters are welcome to walk through the park from 4-6 p.m. on Oct. 30.
Is this still going on or cancelled because of rain?
