Reba “Nell” Hardy (10-17-21) service 10-23-21

Reba “Nell” Johnson Hardy, of Savannah, born Sept. 20, 1927, in Hardin County, departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 17, at the age of 94 years and 27 days.
She was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Cynthia Cherry Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Druie Black and R.D. Hardy; daughter, Brenda Johnson Holt; granddaughter, Stacy Holt; brothers, Gordon, Lane and Gene Johnson; sister, Kate Tune; and a stepson, Billy Hardy.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Marion Holt (Clara Ruth); stepchildren, Gayle Carmen (Charles) and James Dedrick (Carolyn), and their many children and grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Betty Rob Ivy of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Pat Murphy of Clanton, Alabama, and a special sister-in-law, Betty Johnson of Savannah.
Nell was a lifetime resident of Hardin County and a member of Northside Baptist Church.
A graveside service and interment was held on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m., at Memory Gardens, Savannah.
