Emma Mae McAlpin (10-7-21) service 10-11-21

Emma Mae McAlpin, 97, of Counce, passed away peacefully in her sleep at MS Care Center in Corinth, Mississippi, on Thursday, Oct. 7, of age related illness.
She was the widow of James Wesley McAlpin of Middleton, Tennessee, where she resided until 1991 when she moved to Pickwick to be close to her daughter and family. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Counce and had many friends through the years in the Pickwick Community.
She is survived by her son in law, Frank Billings of Pickwick; and three grandchildren, Sharon Billings of Corinth, Mississippi, Reese Billings and his wife Julie of Collierville, Tennessee, and Lisa Davis and her husband Kevin of Tuscumbia, Alabama. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Sara, Samantha and Brandon.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy McAlpin; and her daughter, Bettye Billings.
She will be laid to rest at Hebron Cemetery in Middleton, Tennessee.
A graveside service was held on Monday, Oct. 11, at Hebron Cemetery in Hardeman County, Tennessee with Charles Jeter officiating.
