Laura Brianna Kempfer Turnbow, 32, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Sept. 18, in Finger, Tennessee.
She was born in Madison County, Tennessee, the daughter of Mark Cameron House and Laura Leigh Ross House.She was united in marriage to Christopher Lee Turnbow, who survives.
Mrs. Turnbow worked in the Deli at Food Giant and had attended school at Austin Peay and University of North Alabama. She attended Olivet Presbyterian Church and First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, Christopher Lee Turnbow of Savannah, she is survived by a son, Briar Kenneth Kempfer of Evansville, Illinois, parents, Mark Cameron House and Laura Leigh Ross, both of Savannah; grandparents, Tommy and Laura Jo Hurst, both of Counce; sisters, Katie Wilkins of Savannah, Olivia Conaway of Fulton, Mississippi, and Keenan Fowlkes of Cullman, Alabama; a nephew; and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil Fay and Lucille House.
Services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Helen Hamilton and Keenan Fowlkes officiating. Burial followed in Savannah Cemetery at Savannah.
