Rebecca “Becky” Hunt (9-20-21) service 9-28-21

Rebecca “Becky” Hunt, of Savannah, was born in Lake County, Tennessee, on Jan. 12, 1954, the daughter of the late Vernon and Wilma Arrington Weaver.
On June 12, 1971, she was united in marriage to Harold Douglas Hunt, who preceded her in death on May 4, 2004.
Becky, as she was known by everyone, lived in Hardin County most of her life. She worked for Brown Shoe Company for 17 years. Becky was a member of Savannah Church of God. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, reading and quilting. Becky’s greatest love was being with her grandchildren.
She departed this life on Monday, Sept. 20, in Nashville, at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 8 days.
Becky is survived by her children, Brian Hunt of Mayfield, Kentucky, Jenny Bolen and Brandon Hopper, both of Savannah; grandchildren, Taylor Seay her caregiver, Kristen Hunt, Sydney Hunt, and one other granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ronald Weaver of Tampa, Florida.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Weaver.
Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Bobby Pickens officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
