Nelson Talley (9-16-21) service 9-20-21

Nelson Ander Talley, 81, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Sept. 16, in Savannah.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late William Ander and Anna Louise Stambridge Talley. He was united in marriage to Geraldine Brumley, who survives.
Mr. Talley worked as a manager at Hughes Worm Ranch and was a member of Eureka Methodist Church in Savannah. During his younger years, he worked in New York and Chicago, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Talley of Savannah; daughters, Connie Pinson of Savannah and Karen Warren of Waynesboro; sons, Nelson Ray Talley of Savannah and Brandon Talley of Nashville; sisters, Faye Franks and Vicki Melson, both of Savannah; brothers, Pat Talley, Jerry Talley and David Talley, all of Savannah; stepmother, Myrl Talley of Savannah; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a niece.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Edith Blackwell, Helen Harville, Carol Moncher, and Betty Talley; brothers, Bobby Talley and Charles Talley; and a granddaughter.
Services were held on Monday, Sept. 20, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Phil Mitchell officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
