Free Christian music concert takes place Saturday at Pickwick Landing State Park

Several Christian recording artists are coming to perform Saturday, Sept. 11, at Pickwick Landing State Park.
The free “United We Stand: Come to the River” concert takes place at the circle drive on the Tennessee River from 5-9 p.m.
Musicians are Zach Williams, Big Daddy Weave and Robby Cummings.
The free event is sponsored by Body of Believers and The Outpost.
“Everyone is invited to come out to Pickwick Landing State Park for a great family time,” said Jay Harrison, organizer of the event and owner of The Outpost. “Be sure to bring a chair or blanket, along with a picnic basket for snacks. Free water will be provided. The Outpost will be closed all day Saturday so our staff can enjoy the concert.”
Harrison says “we hear a lot of negativity these days, but we need to remember that all things are possible” and to “have hope in God and to pray for our country.”

In October 2019, Williams released his second album, Rescue Story. It includes the single, “There Was Jesus” with Dolly Parton.

Thank you for putting on this Christian event. So many of us would love to have more places to gather as children of God to praise and worship our Lord and Savior. God bless each and every one of you involved with this great concert.
