Stanley Benson (8-31-21) service 9-4-21

Stanley Noah Benson, 74, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Aug. 31.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of Archie Daniel and Lue Austin Benson.
Mr. Benson worked as a machine operator for Parris Manufacturing.
He is survived by his siblings, Reba Moore and Jeannie Mitchell, both of Savannah, Gladys Winslow and Tommy White, both of Jackson, Tennessee. He is also survived by his 35 nieces and nephews and a multitude of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Willard Benson, Clinton Benson, Calvin Benson and Jerry Benson; and his sisters, Bessie Smith, Rubye Stark, Peggy Edwards and Dessie Taylor.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, Sept. 4, at Campground Cemetery in Savannah with Keith Holloway officiating.
