Donnie Milligan (8-30-21) service 9-2-21

Donnie Milligan, 83, of Counce, died at his residence in Counce on Monday, Aug. 30.
He was born in Michie, to the late Leonard and Beulah Bryant Milligan.
He was of Pentecostal faith and a member of Childers Hill Pentecostal Church. He was a backhoe operator and the owner of Milligan & Son Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Maudie Parson Milligan of Counce; son, Stanley Milligan of Counce; daughters, Rebecca Henson of Counce and Donna Crotts of Savannah; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a step-grandchild; sisters, Leevon Parson of Counce and Laurel Harville of Corinth, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, C.G. Milligan, Mack Milligan, O’Neal Milligan, L.T. Milligan; and sister, Verine Parson.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Sept. 2, at Childers Hill Pentecostal Church with burial in Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rex A. McGee and James Hopper officiated the service.
