Garcie “JR” Roberts (8-9-21) service 8-14-21

Garcie “JR” Roberts, 63, of Savannah, died on Monday, Aug. 9, in Savannah.
He was born in Long Beach, California, the son of the late Garcie and Elsie Irene Thornberry Roberts.
Mr. Roberts worked as a self employed carpenter. He was a member of Church of God in Savannah and attended Eureka United Methodist Church in Savannah.
He is survived by his daughters, Letisha Rene Stamp of Savannah and Leslie Ann Emison of Knoxville; sisters, Sharee Thornberry and Paulette Black; brother, Robert Robert; and six grandchildren.

Services were held on Saturday, Aug. 14, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Homer Mills officiating.
