One person was killed and another injured Thursday when a motorcycle collided with a sport utility vehicle in Walnut Grove, the Tennessee Highway Patrol said.
The THP’s preliminary report says Gary Locklear, 57, of Savannah, who was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, died in the collision with the GMC Terrain SUV driven by Avery Davila, 20, also of Savannah. Davila, who was not wearing a seat belt, was injured.
Locklear was wearing a helmet, but it was not Department of Transportation-approved.
