Pre-teen from Counce injured in four-wheeler crash

A 12-year-old boy from Counce was injured in a four-wheeler crash Monday in the Walnut Grove area, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The THP’s preliminary report says the child was wearing a helmet and driving a 2008 Honda Rancher on Cherry Chapel Loop when it went off the road and hit a utility pole. The incident was reported at 8:40 p.m.
The boy was airlifted from near the scene, a spokesman for the Hardin County Fire Department said Tuesday.
