Jacob Lunsford (7-14-21) service 7-18-21
Jacob Riley Lunsford, of Selmer, departed this life on Wednesday, July 14, at the age of 30 years and 17 days.
He was born in Corinth, Mississippi on June 27, 1991, the son of Steve and Angie Choate Lunsford. On March 23, 2019, he was united in marriage to Addison Wilson, who survives.
Jacob was a veteran of the United States Army and graduated from UT Knoxville with a bachelor degree in forestry. While attending UT Knoxville he was a member of the UT Forestry Club. He was the owner and operator of Tri-State Timber Consultants. Jacob coached pee-wee football in Savannah and was a member and Sunday school teacher at the Selmer First Baptist Church North Campus. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, camping, and playing with his boys.
Jacob is survived by his wife, Addie Lunsford of Selmer; twin sons, Lincoln Riley Lunsford and Jack Wyatt Lunsford, and one child on the way; parents, Steve and Angie Lunsford of Savannah; brother, Andy Lunsford of Florence, Alabama; grandmother, Sue Lunsford of Lutts; cousin, Corey Jennings; best friend and business partner Michael Davis; and his dog, Timber, his best friend and constant companion.
Jacob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe Lunsford, and Morris and Patsy Choate; and uncle, Bryan Choate.

Services were held on Sunday, July 18, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Carter Carroll officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
