Bonnie Mae Franks, 72, of Savannah, died on Sunday, June 27, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born April 14, 1949, in Trumann, Arkansas.
She was a homemaker and a member of Nixon First Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Ray Franks of Savannah; sons, James Franks Jr. and wife Robin of Niles, Michigan and Joshua Franks of Savannah; daughter, Wanda Richard and husband Donald of Niles, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, Joseph Whitman and wife Terra, Andrew Whitman and wife Sue-Ellen Vere, Aaron Whitman, Audreanna Perkins and husband Sean, James Ray Franks III, Brandon Franks, Travis Spalding, Trenton Spalding, Cheyenne Franks, Spencer Franks and Grace Franks; 12 great-grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Alexander, Arionna, Olivia, Lucas, Lillian, Tobias, Elijah, Noah, Kasen and Dean; god daughter, Shayla Hall of Benton Harbor, Michigan; and other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Owens Franks; father, Burl Alexander Knight; mother, Wilma May Bradley Knight; brothers, Buddy Knight, Johnny Knight, Jimmy Knight and Douglas Knight; and sisters, Jean Bennett, Mary Lawson and Donna Vick.
