Lakeyn Rose Coleman was born on Feb. 19, 2021, in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of Sierra McCain and Jacob Coleman.
Lakeyn loved to be outside and play with her frog toys. She also loved taking boat rides and dipping her toes in the creek. Lakeyn was always happy and had a beautiful smile.
Lakeyn Rose Coleman departed this life on Saturday, June 5, in Savannah, at the tender age of 3 months and 17 days.
She is survived by her mother, Sierra McCain; father, Jacob Coleman; grandparents, Terra McCain, Jessie Coleman and Jamie McCain; great-grandparents, Greg Scates, Theresa Scates, Rhonda Coleman, Kathy and Arnold McCain; uncles, Josiah Salgado, Heath McCain, Dustin Lane and Jesse Crites; aunts, Kiearra Wesemann and Katie Wesemann; great aunts, Georgia Lowery and Billie Turner; great uncles, James Lowery, Scott Turner, Matt Boleyn, John T. Coleman and Marcus Burcham; and a host of extended family and friends.
Lakeyn was preceded in death by her uncle, Chase Coleman; grandfather, Josiah Shubert; and great-grandfather, John Coleman.
Services were held on Saturday, June 12, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Homer Mills officiating. Burial followed in Piney Grove Cemetery at Savannah.
