Bus tours will be held both days to view ambush sites, Tennessee/Mississippi state line, the Buford Pusser crash site, McNairy County Courthouse and Jail, and Buford Pusser grave site.
“Our beloved Elvis impersonator, Steve Warren, will perform on Friday at 6 p.m.,” Mullis added.
A car show is on Saturday at 8 a.m. Vendors and rides will continue all day. Bluegrass music by “The Wayne Jerrolds Band” starts at 4 p.m., and on Saturday evening, “Chris Turner Band” opens for country music singer Chuck Wicks.

My husband and I visited this past May and found out that the following weekend was the festival. We were upset that we had to go home. Can you tell me when the next one is so we can make reservations to stay and come to this? We came to visit the Shiloh Battlefields and just ran up on your place. My husband said he wished we had just spent the entire time visiting all the places about Walking Tall. Thanks for any information you can give me. Vicki Garrett

Call the home and museum at (731) 632-4080. We missed it by one day Memorial weekend in May 2021. There is a very nice lady that works there and offered us a private tour but we had to go home. The museum is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. I hope you can get there. God bless !!

If the movie is correct, shame on those who didn’t vote for him the 2nd time. Our communities all across our country desperately need a sheriff Pusser! First of all, our country is in the state it is because we ask God to leave !! We let go the grip we once had on crime. Now look at it! I stand with his methods all the way,to bad there was not another to take a stand the way he did !! Am I a radical? No…just a person who cares for all of us,even if the others dont! You would think, that people gad better sense than to listen to bleeding heart liberals!! They are the ones that led not only your community but all across the country to what it is today. And if you don’t realize that. You have total XXXX for brains !! Just to put it honestly !! So by your families own hands, your county is in the shape it is. And all the other communities in tn. I have visited tn for 36 yrs now. I have seen the decline in what I thought was a red state. But as time goes on, I’m thinking what is going on? I’m sitting here writing and it’s like, wake up people!! This poor man knew what he was doing every step. Don’t you ever think other wise ! That old saying, can’t fight a fire with a water gun !! Hello!! If your communities are riddled with drugs, you have NO one to blame but yourselves !! I don’t know what else to say,I really don’t!!
