Dealon “Dean” Jarrell (5-18-21) service 5-22-21

Dealon Douglas “Dean” Jarrell, 81, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, May 18.
He was born in Fulton, Mississippi, the son of the late Emmett and Clester Owens Jarrell.
For 27 years, Mr. Jarrell worked as a barber until he retired.
He is survived by his daughter, Gaylene Gregory of Savannah; son, Dean A. Jarrell of Savannah; sister, Diane Shelby of Bartlett, Tennessee; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Emmett Owens Jarrell and Cliff Jarrell; and sisters, Nancy Lampley, Wanda Craig, Wayne Wilmarth and Dale Bolton.
Services were held on Saturday, May 22, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Daniel Holt and Phil Cromwell officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
