Shirley Smith (5-6-21) service 5-13-21

Shirley Smith, 86, of Sardis, died on Thursday, May 6, in Sardis.
She was born in Corinth, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Wesley Stephenson and Ava Pauline Jordan Ross.
She was a retired accountant and worked for Ripley Industries and UMIC Bank. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Smith, Ronnie Smith and Alan Smith; daughter, Karen Preston; sisters, Angie Stroud and Jackie Holcomb; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 13, at 1 p.m., at Henry Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi with Jack Moore officiating.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
