Macon Brasher (4-29-21) service 5-10-21

Macon Brasher, 94, of Sardis, died on Thursday, April 29, in Lexington, Tennessee.
He was born in Bath Springs, Tennessee, the son of the late Riley Arthur and Mary Thomas Brasher. He was united in marriage to Bernice Louise Joyner, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Brasher was raised living and working on a farm. Later he worked wiring new and used houses. He was proud to have gotten his State of Tennessee Electrical Contractor License. Macon served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in St. Louis, Missouri.
He is survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Lash Brasher; sisters, Ruple Jarrett, Mae Brasher, Melzene Brasher and Roberta Brasher; and brothers, Woodrow, Haywood, Thomas C. and Nathan Brasher.
Services were held on Monday, May 10, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Greg Brasher officiating. Burial follow in Lebanon Cemetery at Saltillo.
