Neva Clayton (4-27-21) service 4-30-21

Neva Kate Sanford Clayton, 95, of Saltillo, died on Tuesday, April 27.
She was born in Saltillo, the daughter of the late William and Beatrice Bingham Sanford. She was united in marriage to Shirley Neal Clayton, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Clayton retired from Harwood Manufacturing Company and had been a member of Adamsville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Clayton of Savannah; son, Kenneth Varnell of McDonough, Georgia; sister, Eunice Blankenship of Arkansas; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Josephine Sanford, Maxine Surratt, Lois Sanford and Jim Sanford.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 30, at Shady Grove Cemetery of Saltillo with Michael Roach officiating.
