Janice Scott (4-30-21) service 5-4-21

Janice Pickens Scott, 84, of Savannah, died on Friday, April 30, in Savannah.
She was born in Riverton, Alabama, the daughter of the late John Bartley and Lula Mae Lard Pickens. She was united in marriage to Joe F. Scott, who survives.
Mrs. Scott was a member of Pyburn Union Church and worked as a seamstress for Clifton Manufacturing Company. After her retirement, she continued to do work as a seamstress for anyone who needed help.
She is survived by her husband, Joe F. Scott of Savannah; sons, Joe Stephen Scott of Savannah and John Allen Scott of Selmer; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Timothy Boyd Scott and David Andrew Scott; brothers, Thomas Edmon Pickens and John Dennis Pickens; and a granddaughter.
Services were held on Tuesday, May 4, at Pyburn Union Church in Savannah with Harry Nolen and Jamie Huggins officiating. Burial followed in Pyburn Cemetery at Savannah.
