Calvin Cook (4-7-21) service 4-11-21

Calvin Cook, of Savannah, departed this life on Wednesday, April 7, at the age of 68 years, 6 months and 18 days.
He was born in Florence, Alabama, on Sept. 20, 1952, the son of the late Cecil Earl and Ruth Easley Cook.
Calvin was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. He loved to make a dollar, and enjoyed buying and selling, and going to auctions.
Calvin is survived by his fiancé, Elaine Ford; brother, Bobby Cook and his wife Kim; sister, Lesia Arnold; sister-in-law, Joyce Cook, all of Savannah; grandchild, River Cook; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by his son, Charlie Cook; brother, Freddy Cook; and sisters, Freda Smith and Rhonda Cook.
Services were held on Sunday, April 11, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Daniel Holt and Gilbert Gough officiating. Burial followed in Wesley’s Chapel Church Cemetery at Savannah.
